quickly to its current size with 11,400 members. |

Atlantic Tool Collectors Association
The Atlantic Tool Collectors Association was
formed in 1994, with 21 charter members. Since then the
membership has grown to more than sixty members from
across Canada and the United States.
Our association was formed with a view to promoting
public interest in the history and preservation of
antique and collectible hand tools in the Atlantic
Provinces. |

The club was originally formed as
EAIA-West, the western branch of the Early American
Industries Association (see the Links page) in 1968.
Arnold Gordon and Matt Matheson invited potential
members from a list compiled by John Fryberg of Los
Angeles, as well as from EAIA sources. The first meeting
was held June 2nd, 1968, at Arnold Gordon's home. |
